In France, the size of socks and shoes is known with the formula: (3xl +4) / 2 where L is the length of the foot,
expressed in centimeters. Thus, for a value of 28 cm length foot is a size of 44 (or 10 ½ U.S. size).
Reciprocally to a size of 41 corresponds to a length of up to 26 cm.
